| Public concerned This course is intended for chief make-up artists, professional make-up artists (currently 17% of American professional make-up artists use this airbrush make-up technique). This course is eligible for funding from AFDAS (see conditions on their site www.afdas.com).
Objective To acquire the techniques used to create make-up with the help of an airbrush. To master the material, is implementation, its fields of application ; the types of possible make-ups and their duration. To discover and put to use the new textures and materials on different surfaces: face, body, hair, prostheses.
Description of the course and program
DAY 1 - Morning: Initiation, presentation of the materials: the special make-up airbrush: demonstration ; assembling, disassembling and cleaning. The products used. - Afternoon: Airbrush technique: pressure and rate. Individual practice on fixed support (mask). DAY 2 - Morning: Demonstration of the techniques and choice of the products in relation to the make-up artist’s objective. The technique of masking and stenciling. - Afternoon: Practice on live model: Natural face make-up ; Sophisticated face make-up. DAY 3 - Morning: Make-up for the hair and scalp. - Afternoon: Body make-up; tan and swimsuit brands; use of masks. Artistic body make-up: Use of pattern stencils. DAY 4 - Full day: Practice of airbrush make-up on thematic projects: period make-up, fashion make-up. Personal creation. DAY 5 - Morning: Special effects make-up, bruises… - Afternoon: Application and make-up à the airbrush de prosthesis in gelatin or Dermplast.
