To become a good professional make-up artist, you have to be able to respond to all the needs and demands of a production. This profession supposes that you know how to adapt and progress at the same pace as techniques evolve, to be available and attentive to actors and all the other members of the technical crew on a production. It requires a good artistic culture.
In addition to preparing you in make-up techniques, the ITM teaches you to use your imagination and creativity through drawing, painting and modeling workshops: you will have to be capable of developing your own style and making your personal contribution to the design and creation of characters.
