The first year is devoted to work on basic make-up techniques. Students learn about the products and their uses, how to create natural and sophisticated make-up effects for cinema, fashion or theatre. They learn to work on the coherence of a character through hairdressing and styling. They also practice drawing, painting and modeling, and are taught art history and English.
