Face painting

Face Painting is an ancient art found in tribes on every continent. Originally, art for warriors it is now essentially festive. Having made its presence in the world of fashion, it now has followers in their thousands!
Discover a discipline that reveals exceptional moments of creativity!

This workshop is for animators, teachers, make-up artists, actors, dancers, artists ... or anyone wishing to learn how to transform a face thanks to paint.



Explore the use of body paint to transform a persons face into that of a character.

Able to use this skill at events, carnivals, children's shows, etc.


2 days 7 hours (9:00 a.m. to 0:30 p.m./1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.), or 14 hours in total.

The texture of the Paint and the various modes of application.
Information on the various economic and market openings for this technique.
Demonstrations and practice of different themes (2-3 topics per day): clowns, cats, carnival and specific themes, fantastic, fairy tales, ageing, horror, tribal painting, party painting…

Materials and products

Equipment and products are provided during the course, the brush kit (worth 37€) is given to the participants at the end of the course.

Face painting




Participants, are grouped in pairs, that are in turn painter and model. Showers and wash hand basins are available at the Institute. Please provide a towel and a personal face cleanser (type Avène, Nivea, etc.).
It is possible to combine the Face Painting and Body Painting workshops at the special price of € 815€ (instead of 1020€).
